AI Policy

This AI Policy explains where artificial intelligence appears on PilotMarket and the rules that govern it. It supplements our Terms and Privacy Policy; if there is a conflict about AI features, this Policy controls.

1. Where AI appears on PilotMarket

• AI-enhanced photos: listings published from the Pilot apps may include photos whose lighting, background, and composition were adjusted by AI in the source app. Every such photo is labeled ("AI lighting enhanced" or similar), and the seller's original unedited photos remain available in the listing's buyer materials.
• AI-drafted listing text: listing titles, descriptions, and highlights may be drafted by AI in the source app from facts the seller provided and then approved by the seller before publishing.
• Deal ratings & pricing context: price badges and comparable-listing context are algorithmic estimates computed from available market data. They are informational only, not appraisals, offers, or guarantees of value or outcome, and are shown only when enough comparable data exists.
• Safety & quality automation: we may use automated systems, including AI, to review listings and messages for policy violations, fraud signals, and duplicates.

2. Integrity safeguards

• AI enhancement adjusts lighting, background, and composition only. It must never change the item or property itself, and it must never intentionally remove, hide, soften, or exaggerate scratches, dents, rust, wear, damage, or any other visible defect. AI systems can nevertheless produce unintended artifacts, which is why originals ship alongside enhanced photos and seller review is mandatory.
• Odometer and hour-meter photos are never AI-modified. Mileage and engine hours are always seller-reported figures.
• No virtual staging on real-property listings: photos show the property as it is.
• Every AI-enhanced photo carries a label wherever it appears, and AI-generated video or synthetic presenters, where a listing includes them, are fictional production elements. They do not represent a real buyer, inspector, expert, or endorsement, and may not be used to fabricate testimonials or impersonate anyone.
• Absence of a record is never presented as a clean record. A check that could not run reads "could not verify", never "clean". Machine-verified checks are labeled apart from seller-reported statements on every listing.
• AI is not used on documents produced by others: third-party documents such as vehicle history reports and original manufacturer window stickers are displayed exactly as received from their providers, never AI-edited, re-rendered, or summarized in place of the original.

3. Human review & responsibility

AI can be wrong. Output may contain factual errors, omissions, or visual artifacts, and algorithmic price context can differ from real market outcomes. Sellers are responsible for reviewing and correcting every AI-assisted photo and text before publishing and for ensuring their listing accurately represents the item or property. Buyers should treat AI-assisted content as marketing material, verify facts independently, and obtain inspections before transacting. PilotMarket displays what sellers publish; it does not verify listing facts beyond the labeled checks described on the listing.

4. Prohibited uses

You may not use AI features connected to PilotMarket to create deceptive or misleading content; conceal or falsify condition; alter odometer or hour-meter evidence; fabricate title, history, ownership, repair, or equipment claims; impersonate a person; create fake testimonials or reviews; produce discriminatory real-property advertising; generate unlawful, infringing, harassing, or defamatory content; or list anything you do not own or lack authority to sell or rent.

5. How your data is handled with AI

Listing content is processed by AI in the source app under that app's terms before it reaches PilotMarket. On PilotMarket, automated review systems process listings and messages solely to operate, secure, and improve the marketplace. We do not sell your personal information or your content for AI training, and where provider terms and settings allow, we select configurations intended to prevent use of your content to train general-purpose models. 6. Changes

We may update this AI Policy or the AI systems we use as technology evolves; material changes take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date. Questions: support@carbongreylabs.com.
